Board Mounting for Prints
Photo EVO uses high-quality materials for mounting prints. All board mounting is intended to be framed.
Our DW Artboard is a high-quality fiber based board. Ultrafoam is a black foam based 3/16" material with a solid surface on both sides for stability. Styrene is a white plastic base material with a smooth surface that will not absorb moisture. Masonite is a wood material. Handling large photographic prints may lead to kinks and bends, therefore we suggest that prints 16 x 20 and larger should be mounted for longevity and durability. Most professionals mount images for framing.
Some edge of the mounting board/material may show on your finished product, however, edges will not show when framed.
If you are not going to frame your image, please refer to stand-out mounting.
